Car voice: I think that this is easy one to record the sound, It may hold the boom to record the car voice
The actress throws her scarf into the air and when it falls to the ground, an abstract sound is used to make the action appear more dramatic. I think this one was really hard to record. So in my opinion, the sound may be edited in this part. Using marker tool, because in this clip, It had a beautiful and sort background music. So I think, the editor tune down the background music and tune up the abstract sound
In the next clip, a woman who is walking in desert and we can clearly hear the sound of footsteps, I think the editor used the same technique to edit this footage. As the woman continues walking in the desert, she starts to disappear like sand being blown away by the wind. It probably used sound effect to edit this footage , cause we cannot record the sound which the woman disappear, the only way to do that is editing this layer of sound.
It then cuts to a mid shot of a woman who is being interviewed in this footage the editor use the non-sync sound until she starts type the keyboard. In here we can clearly hear the sound of typing keyboard and in this scene it also use mid shot to film this lady, so I think the people may use the boom to close to the keyboard and the editor may also tune up the keyboard sound when s/he edit this part of sound.
Whilst interviewing this old lady, we can hear the sound of birds in the background, so it is possible when the scene was shot, the birds had just landed on the trees, or may be the editor found some bird sound and made a layer of bird sound over the lady’s voice, the reason why the editor may have added the bird’s sound in here, could be to add a nature and laid back feel to the interview
The clicking sound of a camera in this scene, I am not this is good match to this footage, but in here, I think it is easy to edit this part of footage.
The audio of the two women reading the same book from these two different scenes are layered together nicely. And in this footage, the editor also added background music that hints the audience that something bad is about to happen.
It cuts to the close shot, and it typically focus on this lady’s hand, so the boom holder may get very closer to record the paper sound and the sound of lady hitting on the table.
We can hear the tiny bit of shaver sound when the guy who trim the hair of someone else. I think that it may record the shaver sound clearly first, and then the editor added the background music in the footage, s/he may tune down the shaver’s sound and tune up the background music.
his scene was shot by using lapel mic (maybe) we can clear hear this lady sound in this part. Or it probably record this woman’s sound twice time and then manipulate the audio together seamlessly.
The coin sound in this footage, I think it is easy one to edit these coin sound in the footages, it hard to record those sound when shooting this scene, but it is easy to added those sound in the footage.
We can hear a lot of detail sounds in next footage, the sound of drawer when people found something, and women light the cigarette sound. All of the sound could be record first and then added those sound in the editing room.
