PIM Project 3 Sketch 2.6

From our chosen case study, #Selfie #NoFilter by Patrick Kelly, we identified the affordance of interaction as we felt that a selfie when shared online allowed for interaction between people.

Sketch 2.6 is a piece of a person doing the facial message. I record this video by using the Slo motion. In the Slo motion, we can see how funny the people’s lips movement. I think this shot was a little bit similar to #Selfie #NoFilter by Patrick Kelly,  facing on the camera by using different model or filter to film people. It was really good thing to exploring how to use the slo motion to make a funny video, or to change the way which we usually watch about. And I really thankful for my little brother to inspired me which gave me a lot of ideas to shot a funny video by using slo motion.

Sketch 2.6 was filmed on a bright car during the sunny day , and therefore was relatively easy to get good shots. I like this video because it a direct interaction between people. and It make me laugh a lot.

PIM Project 3 Sketch 2.5

From our chosen case study, #Selfie #NoFilter by Patrick Kelly, we identified the affordance of interaction as we felt that a selfie when shared online allowed for interaction between people.

Sketch 2.5 is a piece of s person doing the exercise. That is a really cool video. In this video, I think can be really good to explain interaction. Because little boy stand on his brother hands palm, and his brother did the weightliftings. That is amazing! And they make it. In this sketch, I wanted to show how good they interact with each other. The had the eye contact, but they didn’t say any word. I think that is really good tacit understanding.

Sketch 2.5 was filmed on a bright room during the night, and therefore was relatively easy to get good shots. It can clear to see the footage. The problem was that the video was too short, actually after they did the weightlifting, they also had some communication, If I catch the moment when they talking, it will be more good.

PIM Project 3 Sketch 2.4

From our chosen case study, #Selfie #NoFilter by Patrick Kelly, we identified the affordance of interaction as we felt that a selfie when shared online allowed for interaction between people.

Sketch 2.4 is a piece of s person playing the guitar. In this sketch, I wanted to show how excited of Theo interact with his guitar. The person who in the frame is very talent and creative, he loves perform. In this sketch, just only he play the music, It’s little hard to present how he interact with me. But we also can see how funny action he did, and how he makes me happy.
I love this sketch, because our affordance is interaction, and in this sketch, Theo did a really good job to interact with us, he used his body language and fiscal expression to make me laugh. This is a good example of connection between people, I think, a good interaction between people have to impress people. Making people laugh or makes people thinking. In this sketch, I will think about how to make my project 4 to be more impressive and meaningful.

Sketch 2.4 was filmed on a little bit dark room during the night, and therefore was relatively a little bit hard to get a good shots.

From our chosen case study, #Selfie #NoFilter by Patrick Kelly, we identified the affordance of interaction as we felt that a selfie when shared online allowed for interaction between people.

Sketch 2.3 is a piece of a cat kicking tennis ball. In this sketch, I wanted to show the interaction between a person and an animal. I wanted to show the interaction between the Min’s hand who is my landlord. The cat catch the ball, kicked it and scratch the ball. The sketch mainly shows the cat catch the ball when a person pass the ball toward it. The lazy cat lying on the carpet and waiting for the person pass the ball toward it. The cats gave the responses. It played the ball. This process is a direct interaction. Min pets cat’s paw. In this process shows person interact between a person and an animal. 

Sketch 2.3 was filmed on a bright room during the day, and therefore was relatively easy to get good shots. The only problem that was present not film the Min’s facial expression.

PIM Project 3 Sketch 2.2

From our chosen case study, #Selfie #NoFilter by Patrick Kelly, we identified the affordance of interaction as we felt that a selfie when shared online allowed for interaction between people.

Sketch 2.2 is a person who play his music. When we finished the dinner, we seated on the coach and watched the TV, my brother Theo said that he created a music, and wanted to share with us. So we turn down the TV volume, started his music. I realize that this a really good interaction between images and music, because the context of TV had not any relative with the music. But when we play the music, we thought the music can be  really good to match the images. It also like the second time of media present, the TV was present on the TV screen and I used my phone to shot it again. 

Sketch 2.2 was filmed on a bright room, and therefore was relatively easy to get good shots. The problem was that Theo presented in the camera frame for once. Actually I need to film his interaction with his music and TV. The interaction between person and music would be more clear, if I shot Theo more times.

PIM Project 3 Sketch 2.1

From our chosen case study, #Selfie #NoFilter by Patrick Kelly, we identified the affordance of interaction as we felt that a selfie when shared online allowed for interaction between people.

Sketch 2.1 is a piece of people dancing. In this piece,  there are several people on the stage who are doing the rehearsal for night show. I was on the backstage watching them. I wanted to show the interaction with audiences. How they used the body language  to get the audiences attention and the audience gave the feedback to them. The dancers  dance along to the beat of the music.

All of us enjoy this dancing process. I also shot one of my friend Rick who in front of me using his camera to shot them. this is a really good interaction between dancers and audience.  

Sketch 2.1 was filmed on a bright stage. and therefore was relatively easy to get good shots. The problem that was present when trying to film audiences reaction. But I gad to make sure that I did not disruption the dancers. I can’t come  too close to the dancers, I have to stand behind the curtain.

PIM Project 3 Sketch 1.9

From our chosen case study, #Selfie #NoFilter by Patrick Kelly, we identified the affordance of interaction as we felt that a selfie when shared online allowed for interaction between people.

Sketch 1.9 is a piece of cat interacted with my hand. The cats name Bird, she is really human senses cats. She likes to social rather than stay alone or play in the garden by herself. In sketch 1.9 I wanted to how the cats interacted with my hand. I also used the iMovie to do some editing. This video it’s kind of likes an intimacy between my hand and cat.  I pet the cat’s jaw. I wanted to show how my hand interacted the my cats. In sketch1.9,  we can clearly know that the cat is happy and  fond on me, so she always push her head forwards to my hand. When I flip my finger, It likes I gave a signal to her, and she gave me a response. She push her head forwards to my hand. I really enjoy that moment. This is very normal interaction between people and cats especially when the cat was happy or the cats fond of someone. I give my love to them, and they give a response. That is amazing!

Sketch 1.9 was edit by iMovie, so we can see that, It totally different one, I really like to use this filter to edit my Sketch. It makes this video become like a horror video, but the context of video is lovely and peacefully.

PIM Project 3 Sketch 1.8

Sketch 1.8 was me interacting with Arlo who is my little boy. We sit in coach and watch TV, and we plan to shoot a funny video. Arlo is so nice and lovely boy, and he definitely enjoy to help me to film this shot.

In this video, when I said word’ xiu’ and he was pulling out. We pretend that I have a power which can flip people without touch them. So when he asked me a question about the leg of tortoise. I just flipped him, We  did a several time, and this time the footage was not bad. He just be flipped out of the carpet. That is really funny. We made a  funny atmosphere which hoping people will enjoy that interaction when they watch those video.  For me it is nice making people laughing,  and it also not that hard to film a video like this, Because we see many  funny videos in Youtube or Vimeo were shot by using cell phone. I think there are  two interaction in this video. One is people who are in the  camera frame, they had interaction with each other , another one is that people who watching this video, and they laughed.

Sketch 1.8 was shoot in the dark room. So we barely see person face. I think next time I can do it in the day, or in place which are brightly.

PIM Project 3 Sketch 1.7

From our chosen case study, #Selfie #NoFilter by Patrick Kelly, we identified the affordance of interaction as we felt that a selfie when shared online allowed for interaction between people.

Sketch 1.7 is my Homestay brother Arlo play the piano. I wanted to show the interaction between piano and his finger. The sketch showed a direct interaction between he and piano and an indirect interaction between he and music score. The sketch mainly shows how his finger interact with piano, and how his fingers was dancing on the key. In temporal relationships how Arlo interact with piano and do a music creation. Besides, through the footage we can see some music score in front of him. But he didn’t interact with music score. It may just like the footage of #Selfie #NoFilter by Patrick Kelly, Selfie but no filter. In this sketch it can be compose and no music score.

The improvement of this sketch is that should be shooting this sketch into the Slo-motion next time, because turn to the Slo-motion, we might clearly see his finger dancing. But I quite like the light effect of Sketch 1.7. It was bright and sort.

PIM Project 3 Sketch 1.6

From our chosen case study, #Selfie #NoFilter by Patrick Kelly, we identified the affordance of interaction as we felt that a selfie when shared online allowed for interaction between people.

I walked down on the Swanston Street and saw one magician had making a cup floating. I thought this is very good interaction. One people in the front of people doing performancing, he attract people’s attention by doing the magic. One of my group member-Bronte, she did a sketch which was about a piece of people dancing. In her sketch, there are two people dancing on the stage who prompt the audience to dance along with them. In sketch 1.6 was very similar one. Magician stayed in the front and used body language to get audience attention. I wanted to show the interaction between people. all these audiences are interacting with Magician and they curious about it.

Sketch 1.6 was filmed outside on the dark and noisy street. The quality of the footage is not very good and therefore I didn’t show much about audiences facial expression. so we can’t see how the magical interacted with audiences clearly.
